Obituary for Terry Earl Wilson
Services for Terry Earl Wilson, 66, of New York, are scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Sand Springs Baptist Church, 1212 FM 1616, Athens, TX 75751, with Dr. Adam Dooley and Bro. Vic Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in New York Cemetery under direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson passed away May 3, 2019 in Dallas. He was born June 10, 1952 in Wills Point to Jesse Odell Wilson and Odie Lee (Willis) Borden. He was a Christian man, having given his life to Christ at the age of 15. He worked for T.U. Electric before starting his own business, Cornerstone Mechanical Services. He loved racing, being on his farm, his family and most importantly, his Lord.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Odie Lee (Willis) Borden; and daughter, Amanda Wilson.
Survivors include wife, Wynell Wilson of New York; father, Jesse Odell Wilson and wife Wanda of Emory; children, Ronny Wilson and girlfriend Amy Fredrickson of Nashville, TN, Rebecca Couch and husband Mark of Alba and Megan Robison and husband John of Seagoville; godson, William Sanders of Seagoville; brother, Danny Wilson of Canton; sister, Karen Willingham and husband Rickey of Canton; grandchildren, Jordan Wilson, Jasamine Rodgers, Jessica Rodgers, Owen Couch, Wyatt Couch and Parker Robison; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dewey Reynolds, Roger Prince, Stephen Thompson, Aubrey David, Jerry Miller and Ronnie Kyle.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
